Well it's been almost a month since we got married and there's a lot that has happened. We enjoyed Christmas with both our families since the wedding was 5 days later. We had a lot of fun playing games, eating 2 Christmas Dinners, a Christmas devotional and opened gifts. We struggled at first trying to figure out how to do Christmas since we'd have to split time. It was hard but it all turned out fine. We spent Christmas Eve with Jordan's family at his parents house in South Jordan. His mom puts on a huge dinner for the extended family every year. We had an amazing meal and enjoyed a Christmas Devotional by his Aunt Kathy. It's always nice to remember the true reason of Christmas. Christmas Day we spent with my family at Autumn and Jeremy's house in Harriman. We started the day off nice and early like any christmas morning in my family. I was a bit of a party pooper that day. I got a horrible cold that completely took all my energy. of coarse right before the wedding. So while all the kids opened their Santa gifts i laid on the floor trying to sleep while i waited for jordan to get there. We went to Sacrament and came home for our second Christmas Dinner. I definitely gained 5 lbs, almost not fitting in my dress. haha
The next week came all the final preparations for the Wedding. Jordan and i had work unto the Wednesday before the wedding. I packed my stuff up and headed to Autumns after work that day. It was quite funny to think i was actually getting married in 2 days. I had waited not only the 4 months of our engagement but my entire life. It felt like i was dreaming. In fact the past 8 months had to be a dream. It still amazes me how perfect it has all come together. I look back at the first time i saw Jordan at church teaching Sunday School and i knew that instant that i was going to marry him and i felt an amazing amount of peace and comfort and i had yet to meet him. Weird yes i know, but i still didn't talk\ to him for another week i think it was at a game night we had in our quad at Raintree. I was so nervous to talk to him but he was the one that first said something so i was fine after that. I have been so blessed with such an amazing thing in my life. I have never felt so blessed in my life. It is so true when they say that you marry up. We both feel like where our weakness's are the other is stronger in. When i just want to go to sleep and not say our prayers Jordan drags me out of bed and reminds me we have such an amazing opportunity to thank our heavenly father everyday for all he has blessed us with. And right there is a blessing i have to thank him for. When he is worried about school, work or anything else i am there to help him get through it. He makes me laugh every single day and that is what i have always wanted my husband to do, and i got it. He is the most amazing blessing i could ever ask for and i can't wait to raise an eternal family with that stud!!! : )
Anyways, sorry i get carried away when it comes to the gospel and to Jordan. I can go on and on forever. So December 30th comes and i am up at 6am. No butterflies at all which is weird because if you know me i have THE WORST anxiety in this world when it comes to change, and this was the BIG SHA-BANG! the change of all changes. Jordan has become my stress reliever, the second i see his smiling face all my worries disappear. He always reminds me that things will always work out and to have faith. : ) So my mom, dad and i get our stuff in the car to head to the temple. Make-up, hair, temple clothes and suitcase check check check. I was getting married in an hour. I go in the front room and there he was my Hubby to be. Man he's so darn cute. He had one cheesy grin on his face and i loved it. We were married at 11am in the Draper, Utah Temple for all time and Eternity. It was a beautifully cloudy and extremely WINDY day. I was not one bit frustrated i was in a bubble of shock/bliss... We took pictures out in front of the temple with our family and friends and then just us with our photographer. Angela Liddle, she was such a trooper the Wind was absolutely crazy. We head to the luncheon at 2 o'clock at Christopher's. The food was amazing... We then had a reception in South Jordan at 7pm. It was beautiful and so fun! Thanks to my lovely mother who had all of the decorations and to my family who helped decorate and take down for hours. I love you guys! We went to Little America for our Wedding night and then headed to San Antonio TX for some amazing weather. It was 75 degrees when we landed in the airport. Best decision ever!! : ) We had an amazing time on the River Walk. We had dinner at Hard Rock, and The Rain Forest Cafe, and some other fun little restaurants. We went to the Ripley's Believe it or not oddities museum and the Wax museum. It was so fun!
We flew back home Wednesday and was welcomed to beautiful weather. It was a gorgeous day and it was the first week of January in SLC. All i can say to that is Pray Works my friends. haha
We opened our gifts that night at Jordan's parents house and headed home the next day to go to our first day in our apartment together. Stephanie Jordan's sister helped us get all our gifts down to our apt! Thanks Steph!! : ) We spent the day organizing and putting away our new gifts. it was quite and adventure to find places for all of our appliances. : ) We then packed up again and headed to STG... more warm weather, woo hoo... Time to set up for yet another reception. It was a lot easier this time around. My family is just that legit, if you're getting married and want to have an amazing wedding reception just let us know if not for the decorations were great entertainment. haha That night my family went to Dinner at the Brick Oven to spend time with my Grandparents, and Aunts and uncles from Cali and Uncle and his GF from Tx. I am so grateful to them for coming all that way and spending one of the most special moments in my life with me. I love you guys!! It was a great reception i got to dance with not only my daddy but my grandpa too. I love that man, i know why my daddy is my favorite guy because his parents are such amazing people. : ) they would do anything for anyone at any given point. The next morning we came to my parents for breakfast and opened our gifts there. We packed all that up and headed home. Jordan started school and his new work schedule the next day and i returned to work also. We both dreaded going back to the "real world" but after we went back it felt good to actually be doing something. We finally got the rest of the stuff for our home with our gift cards to BBB... Thank you to all of you who gave us a gift and helped us start out our new lives together with ease from the gifts we received. <3 you!
Pics will be up soon. Well a few weeks went by and Jordan hears that one of his classes was thinking about opening a night class. Jordan was working Mon, Wed, and Friday's 3-11pm because this class was only offered in the morning. So we prayed and prayed everyday that something would make it work to where this class would be opened and he could hopefully go back to morning work. Well it happened. All worked out. Jordan now goes to work Mon, Wed 7-3 and school nights, I will take anything can get. Fridays i can handle i have been for the past 8 months so it's no biggy. I am still working at Turn with my amazing Special needs friends and love it so much. It's challenging at times but it's so worth it in the end. We just finished making a video for our work film festival i will have to post some pics of it and all of the events that have gone on since the wedding!
Well i have rambled for long enough. Love you all
Jordan and Dani Nate

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. We are so grateful for our families and friends. Especially the many blessings we have seen in our lives. So Jordan and i flew into Chicago Wednesday morning and his dad and brother picked us up and we had to drive to Grand Rapids which was a 3 hour drive, it wasn't too bad we stopped on the freeway and got McDonald's. Yes, on the freeway it was pretty funny i will post a pic, we took a nap talked had fun. It has been so much fun, we got to meet our new nephew packer and i got to meet Andrea and Preston. We went to dinner when we got into Grand Rapids at Old Chicago. Such a yummy place. mmmm... Today has been fun we got up and hung out watched the Macy's Day Parade and then watched the movie "The mouse and the Mayflower" which is a tradition in Jordan's family. Such an old movie very funny. Fun plans ahead for the rest of the day, games, delicious food and more Packer time! stay tuned for the pics...
